Machine Operator

Salary: Starting from £10.05 per hour

Hours: Monday To Friday - 45 Hours per week

Looking for something new? We have a position available within our Production department. We are looking for a machine operator to make our team complete. As a valued member of the team, you will be working within a fast paced environment with many colleagues operating processing machinery, such as bandsaws, drilling machinery, overhead cranes - You'll be internally trained on all our equipment and processes.

No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

You will be contracted to 45 hours per week, (6am - 4pm, 8am-6pm or 10am-8pm) Monday to Friday (except for bank holidays). This can be discussed at interview stage.

Salary begins at £10.05 per hour with a discretionary monthly bonus up to £100. This includes a 6 month probation period. There is also potential to earn more depending on performance.

Main duties:

· Completing customer job packs

· Dealing with customer collections

· Operating processing machinery

· Load and unload machinery

· Organising work schedules

· Use of internal tracking systems

· Liaising with team leaders

· Maintaining housekeeping

· Ensuring materials are safely organised

· Complete jobs on time and in full

· Completing internal paperwork

Required Skills

Requirements:

· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Excellent time management.

· Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.

· Keen eye for detail.

· Have a proactive approach to tasks

· Detail for health and safety

· Correct PPE at all times
