This position will be based out of our office in Airdrie. Angus Gunn is part of the wider Group and has been supplying steel profiles to the engineering and fabrication sectors within the UK and Ireland for over 30 years, with continuous investment in facilities and extensive knowledge in the sector.
Role and responsibilities:
• Drives new business by identification and research into new profiling sales opportunities.
• Builds and maintains contact databases.
• Establish contact and develop relationships with prospects; recommend solutions.
• Maintains relationships with existing clients
• Provide regular, ongoing information on new products and profiling services.
• Actively following up all quotations raised and providing feedback
• Gathering general customer feedback, market activities and competitor information
• Contributes to sales team effort by meeting individual and team sales targets & Gross Margin
targets.
• Promotion of all products along with added value services
• Processing orders on the system and following orders through from start to completion.
• Responding to internal & external emails in a timely manner.
• Visit customers when necessary to promote Angus Gunn and the wider Group product range.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Ideally from a steel profiling background having experience with fabrication and engineering
drawings
• Be confident on the telephone with new contacts
• Build client relationships
• Promote excellence
• Be enthusiastic and energetic
• Be motivated to sell and be driven to meet personal and team targets
• Able to work independently
• This role reports directly to the Business Commercial Manager
